Niwa Phase 1
In Gåsebäck, just south oof central Helsingborg, old industrial land has been replaced with new housing. The project is divided into two phases with a total of 78 apartments on six floors. Phase 1 contains 39 apartments of 1-4 bedrooms.
In the Niwa project, we have adopted a completely circular and resource-efficient approach – the building can be dismantled and reassembled in a different location, making it possible to build on temporary planning permission. The project is characterized by an innovative and stylish architectural approach with exclusive material choices, while great care has been taken to preserve the historic character of the area.
The residential building is surrounded by a raised Japanese garden, which through trees, bamboo and shrubs contribute to a quiet oasis for recreation. The property is environmentally certified according to Miljöbyggnad Silver and was a finalist in the 2022 Green Building of the Year. The building is highly energy efficient, thanks in part to exhaust and supply air ventilation with high energy recovery in all apartments and solar cells on the roof.
