Barkarbystaden KV 15

Järfälla, north of Stockholm, Barkarbystaden, one of Sweden’s largest and most exciting urban development projects, is taking shape. A new mixed-use city is being built and developed here with housing, workplaces, facilities for education, hotels, commerce, services, sports and culture. Barkarbystaden is the future public transport hub of north-west Stockholm, with a metro, bus station, commuter train and regional train station.

In Barkarbystaden, we have completed a city concept with 350 apartments, communal areas, restaurants, small shops, and a preschool in a pleasant mix with experiential architecture and greenery. The public spaces have been designed to make the streets more lively and enticing.

The block has a high environmental profile with low energy consumption.
