SIBS AB (Publ) is proud to announce the signing of its first order in Australia for the delivery of 50 ancillary dwelling units (ADU).

This milestone marks SIBS’ entry into the Australian market with a scalable concept designed to address urgent housing needs. The units will be produced with SIBS’ advanced modular building technology, ensuring high quality, rapid deployment, and compliance with local standards. The order is expected to be delivered in Q1 2026, subject to approved planning and site access.

This first order in Australia is an important step in proving how our ADU concept can be scaled quickly and efficiently. Together with our partner, we also see great potential in expanding this product offering to a nationwide network of individual owners and investors, targeting over 2,000 units annually. Modular solutions such as these can make a real difference in addressing the Australian housing shortage crisis, by delivering sustainable and high-performance homes with speed and cost efficiency”, says Erik Thomaeus, CEO of SIBS AB.

The ADUs are designed to provide modern, high-quality accommodation through an end-to-end solution, from financing to delivery and handover, in cooperation with SIBS' local partner. This concept demonstrates how SIBS’ modular systems provide a streamlined and sustainable way to bring much-needed capacity to the housing market.
